Lethbridge Bulls Kick Off the WCBL Opening Week with Lethbridge Bulls Open Practice and Media/News Day!
Lethbridge, AB - The Western Canadian Baseball League (WCBL) is proud to announce the commencement of its Opening Week, with the WCBL Opening Day falling on Friday, May 24, marking the beginning of an exciting season of baseball. As part of the festivities, the Lethbridge Bulls are hosting an Open Practice and Media/News Day event on Friday, May 24, 2024, at the Lethbridge Bulls first official practice of the season at Spitz Stadium in Lethbridge, AB.
Baseball fans and media representatives alike are invited to join us for an exclusive opportunity to witness the team in action during their practice session, offering a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the preparation of one of the League’s twelve teams.
In an exclusive pre-practice event starting at 1:00pm and continuing until 2:30pm, news outlets will have the opportunity to request interviews from players, coaches, and staff. If you are an accredited News Outlet, please contact Kim at Spitz Stadium to RSVP for your desired interviews.
Bulls Season Ticket Holders, Flex Pack Holders, and Billet Families are also invited to attend starting at 1:00pm to be given the exclusive opportunity to meet and greet the team before practice commences. If you are a Bulls Season Ticket Holder, Flex Pack Holder, or Billet Family, please contact the Spitz Stadium Administration Offices to RSVP for your meet-and-greet.
Once practice commences at 2:30pm, the gates will be open to the general public to enjoy the Bulls’ first practice of the season. The event promises to be a casual and enjoyable day of baseball for fans of all ages. Admission to the practice is free for all attendees.
While all fans are welcome to observe the practice, only accredited news outlets will have the privilege of conducting interviews with players, coaches, and staff members from 1:00pm-2:30pm, with only Bulls Season Ticket Holders, Flex Pack Holders, and Billet Families having the privilege of personally attending the meet-and-greet from 1:00-2:30pm before the gates are opened to the general public at 2:30pm.
