The Lethbridge Bulls, Prairie Baseball Academy and Vauxhall Academy of Baseball are proud to announce their Annual TCMM Memorial Kids Camp & Benefit Game.
Lethbridge, AB – The Bulls, PBA, and VAB joyfully extend their warm welcome to young ball players from across Southern Alberta, inviting them to participate in the highly anticipated TCMM kid's camp. Additionally, the community is cordially invited to join us in supporting this extraordinary event.
Mark your calendars for May 22nd, 2024, at 6:35 PM, as we gather together for the annual TCMM Memorial game. This remarkable occasion serves as a beautiful opportunity to bring close friends and family together to celebrate the lives of two remarkable individuals who were cherished members of our esteemed organizations. We fondly remember Tanner Craswell and Mitch MacLean, as well as Tabitha Stepple, who sadly departed from us in December of 2011 after a senseless act of violence. Each May since this tragic event, the Lethbridge Bulls have hosted the Vauxhall Academy of Baseball in a benefit game, with the proceeds donated to the TCMM scholarship fund. This noble fund has been established to support young ball players within all three organizations.
Commencing at 4:30 PM, players and coaches from both the Lethbridge Bulls and Vauxhall Academy of Baseball will conduct an engaging camp for the children. This unique opportunity allows the kids to learn from and enjoy an unforgettable time with the players from both teams. The camp admission fee is $20.00 and the camp attendees will receive a Hot Dog, Pop, T-Shirt, and a Ticket to the evening exhibition game with the camp entry fee. Following the camp, at 6:35 PM, we will witness the Lethbridge Bulls playing their first home game before the WCBL Season commences, accompanied by the Vauxhall Academy of Baseball, who will be wrapping up their season.
Kevin Kvame, President of the Lethbridge Bulls, expressed his heartfelt sentiment, stating, "This event has evolved into a joyous celebration of the sport we all love, while also honoring the memory of two players who held a deep passion for the game itself. We wholeheartedly invite the entire baseball community to join us in this heartwarming celebration."
