The Western Canadian Baseball League named it's first and second team all-stars for the 2024 season and two Lethbridge Bulls were included.
Bulls starting pitcher Javier De Alejandro had himself another excellent season for the Bulls going 6-1 in 9 starts. The San Antonio Texas native struck out 52 opposing batters in 59 innings. De Alejandro was also named to the WCBL 's West Division All-Star team this past July.
Jack Kalisky did it all for the Bulls this WCBL season. He was a closer out of the bullpen picking up 7 saves in 19 appearances. But it was his bat that also caught the eyes of the post season award voters. Kalisky, also a San Antonio native, hit.307 with 7 home runs and 47 RBI's in the 48 games he appeared in as a utility player for the Bulls in 2024.
The Lethbridge Bulls will be naming their year end award winners during the start of the Major League Baseball playoffs in October.
