LETHBRIDGE, AB - The Lethbridge Bulls announced Thursday, the singing of OF Parker Smejkal out of the Univeristy of Nebraska Omaha (NCAA Division I).

To date, Smejkal has appeared in 68 games posting a batting average .237 and 12 extra base hits. No stranger to the WCBL, Smejkal appeared in 48 games during his time with the Yorkton Cardinals, posting a .321 batting average, 7 doubles, 2 triples, and 6 home runs.

The righty swinging Smejkal will look to compete for a corner outfield position on this stacked Bulls squad, as he's the eighth NCAA Divison I signee on the Bulls roster for the 2019 season, and they aren't done yet. On paper this team looks well improved from last season and will surely compete for the WCBL Championship.

The Bulls season begins May 25th in Edmonton, as they take on the Prospects in a two game set before heading home to face the Fort McMurray Giants in the Home Opener May 30th.
