Alex Bishop of our very own Lethbridge Bulls was named the WMBL player of the week for week 1 of the 2017 season. Bishop a Junior at the University of Texas at Tyler got off to a tremendous start hitting 3 homeruns in his first 2 games of the year. All told Bishop hit .412 for the week with 2 2B, 3 HR and 9 RBI's. Alex continued to swing the bat well on Monday night in Medicine Hat. The Bulls spoiled their second home opener of the year topping the Mavericks 8-2. Bishop went 4-5 with 3 RBI's to move his average for the season to an even .500 through 5 games. Congratulations Alex!

The Bulls head to Swift Current today to take on the undefeated Swift Current 57's before returning home this weekend for 3 games.
