The Lethbridge Bulls have partnered with the Plaid for Dad Organization to help raise awareness for prostate cancer, a disease that 1 in 7 men will be diagnosed with in their lifetime.
Plaid for Dad was launched in 2015 to help raise awareness and vital research funds for prostate cancer. It has quickly become a fun and easy way for Canadians to celebrate dad and help the 1 in 7 men who will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime.
The Lethbridge Bulls Baseball Club is happy to be a part of this wonderful event as it will be their first year in doing so. Moving forward, the Bulls will be participating in this event for every Father's Day Game they hold, to help raise awareness for the disease.
The first ever Plaid for Dad Father's Day Game will be held June 19th, at 7:05PM against the long-time rival, Okotoks Dawgs. You can help the Bulls raise money for prostate cancer by wearing plaid to the game as for every fan who wears plaid, $2 will be donated by the organization.
You can also help the Bulls raise money for prostate cancer by donating to their page, https://secure.e2rm.com/registrant/TeamFundraisingPage.aspx?teamID=805287&langPref=en-CA.
A raffle will be held for special items that have been donated by the Plaid for Dad Organization and the Lethbridge Bulls with all proceeds going to prostate cancer research. Players will be wearing special plaid hats on the field for the game and the same hats will be for sale in the pro shop at Spitz Stadium – The Home of the Bulls.
