Chris Stodolka was named the WMBL player of the week for his work out of the bullpen last week for the Bulls. Stodolka pitched in 3 games, earning 3 saves. The veteran reliever who hails from Lethbridge only gave up one hit in his three appearances, and struck out seven of the batters he faced.
Stodolka is an alumni of the Prairie Baseball Academy, and is finishing his degree in civil engineering at the University of Texas at Tyler. So far in 2017 Stodolka is off to a tremendous start for the Bulls. Chris has a 1-0 record in 11 innings pitched, a 0.81 ERA, 14 K's and a WMBL best 9 saves in 9 opportunities. Along with 8th inning man, Dawson Moser the Bulls have one of the best back end's of the bullpen in the league. The team will need both pitchers to continuing throwing well late in games if the Bulls look to hold on to the top spot in the West Division.
Congratulations Chris Stodolka!
